Promuovere la resilienza negli operatori sanitari: il programma Mindfulness Oriented Professional Resilience (MOPR)

Gli autori presentano lo sviluppo e l’applicazione del programma formativo “Mindfulness Oriented Professional Resilience” (MOPR) presso l’Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale (ASUFC). Questo programma mira a promuovere la salute psicologica degli operatori sanitari e a prevenire il disagio psichico derivante dalla “compassion fatigue” (CF). Il programma MOPR si basa su un training orientato alla mindfulness che include tecniche di gestione dello stress e pratiche di auto-regolazione emotiva. Lo studio ha coinvolto 44 psicoterapeuti che hanno partecipato a 6 incontri di gruppo della durata di 2.5 ore ciascuno. I risultati hanno mostrato un significativo miglioramento nella soddisfazione professionale e una riduzione del burnout e dello Stress Traumatico Secondario (STS). Inoltre, i partecipanti hanno riportato un aumento della consapevolezza e dell’autoaccettazione, oltre a una maggiore capacità di regolazione emotiva. Nonostante le limitazioni dello studio, come l’assenza di un gruppo di controllo e il follow-up, i risultati suggeriscono che il programma MOPR possa essere un efficace strumento per migliorare il benessere psicologico degli operatori sanitari e prevenire il disagio psichico legato alla CF.
